    GRUDGES
Some, probably all, people have held grudges or are in the middle of holding a grudge, or even being grudged against. It's pointless considering the flaws we face today. If i were to act upon or against someone for every thing the said, did, wrote, or behaved like, I'd be one lonely lonely individual. I guess my opinion would vary depending on mood with this issue, but currently i'm happy so i'm having a positive outlook on people and how i've seen them lately, but people need to learn to forgive and forget because like it's been so plainly stated before by some wise philosipher there's just not enough time on this earth for each of us to perpectually hate each other. Avoiding the "Luvs" commercial pun You live and You learn; and i've learned through my mistakes. Well once you all get down from your high horse, lemme know how the view was, because i've been trying to set everyone i'm close with at a equal level so that grudges are harder to come by and forgivness with be more abundant.

    FULLFILLMENT
Many aren't fullfilling themselves. We all have an insationable greed for personal meaning (power, love, money, a gerneral purpose of any kind.) Are you afraid to die? Yes, as of right now yes. Do you believe in afterlife? I can't give my straight answer. The answers to those questions can be answered countlessy with different responses. How do you feel? Be honest with youreself, Are you any where near fullfillment?

    CARTOONS
The influence of our infantcy. The coalition of our childhood. The apitomy of our adolenscence If you are currently unaware of the concept of cartoons you have quite literally been under a rock for the last 20 something years. Through the phrase "cartoons" many images are astrewn: Comics and general TV and other examples of media have been jam packedwith them since the invention of "Steamboat Willie"But fo this particuliar incident i'm focusing on the TV and Cinema aspect of cartoons. Scooby Doo, Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry; energetic characters that developed astate of mind. Through common birth we're faced with the relentless advertisments. From "Finding Nemo" to "Pokemon" the youth of our days has been presented with an unrelentless list of choices. So much so that personalities are dependant and often based on characters of basic fiction. The influence is so strong that we are undoubtedly presented with the unbearable protesting of the soccer moms. Demanding TV is the devil, only educational programing is acceptable, but by the time we've realized the dominance of the mindless entertainment it's too late and the control is everywhere. Bilboards, Radio, Magazine, Schoolyards, and even classrooms. The excentricacies that the've cartoons have reached is disheartening but now i'm just going to sit back and watch as i mindlessly thumb through cartton network and nickelodeon.

    QUESTION

Ok, so i'm hoping to have a reaccuring theme here, that being Questions. Here it goes, Do you live for the day or the future, do you live inspired by the past or by the present? Kind of hypothetical. No wrong answer, no right answer. its more of a personal distinction. You can feel fulfilled and still have regrets, you can be wish the future would come faster and still treasure the present. Checks and balances could come into play for some think letting go is better than looking forward and vice verca, but to someone who treats them equally you could never compare the two. saying the counterbalance each other. No-one's ever fulfilled in life, even if they state it the thought of the one thing they'd wish they'd done or done differently is always in the bakc of they're head. Kind of like the "Did i leave the oven on" scenario. So much can be from someone who's dying. Were they fulfilled with life; probably not but they say they were i guess to resolve some of the grief. Even as one dies the top three thoughts probably come to mind, I'm sorry, I love you, and "Did i leave the stove on?"

    VENTING

Everyone's personal stress is often compared as a kettle as it builds and builds things start to steam and eventually whistle, just think of those precariously stupid cartoon characters who's head gets all reddish and steam fumes from their ears. Venting is coming naturally now. Through making fun of a random teacher, to talking behind someones back, which we all do and if you deny it you're in denial. Just because youre talking behind someone's back very much so doesn't mean that you're insulting them, please try to obtain the right meaning of that phrase, anyway, it all helps relieve those fumes. I've found writing as an option as others have found various sports, creative arts, etc.and when i need to, i write/type. Emotions flow freely as if they were in my head as they to do this page. All of us need some stress relieve sometimes, and never forget that. Don't let the kettle boil over.

    TIME
People don't have time any more. People who once devoted weeks at a time to me are blowing me off, avoiding a 2 hour movie. Time's too important now, it's not like it's never been, it's just kind of a coming of mentality kind of thing. I've devoted too much of my life of unimportant jiberish previously and hell i don't want to it anymore. I want more from life. I'll spend the rest of my time oding things important for me, and my future. That shouldn't sound "greedy" because i need to help people to be at peace with myself in some ways. I'm not saying charity, and such are manditory for people to be happy, but wiht my perspective in life it's necisary for me. Time shouldn't be wasted listening to music, watching tv, and reading books if all this media is pointless. Sitcoms aren't going to help you, they'll entertain you, but there is a fine line between entertained and happy. Even though time is at a huge disadvantage they're are only a couple conquerers of it. One such being love, and not just that lovey-dovey bullcrap, the love you see between and aged couple sitting debating they're opinions allowing they voice to be shared, love that conquers time is found in families that will stay together in the tough as hell times.
Time is wasted being upset at those who have to little of it. Thats kind of confusing to even me so i'll break it down. Even though people are reluctant to see this self-pity helps no-one, as does loathing others. Be greatful for the time that you do have do not show anger for the time that was "wasted" in your opinion. Time is unique in that it will be here forever, but just because something is at an abundance don't let it go to waste.

    BIRTHDAYS
So now for a more humorous entry. Quoting a very famous comedian "Hey, whats the deal with birthdays...?" I am horrible with remember birthdays, and whenever you blaitently forget a close friend or associates you feel as if you've comited a crime. At least it's that way for me. I'm not a very embarrasable person in general but not too much is worse than my forgetfullness of important dates. I shall now list all the birthdays i KNOW for sure in order from January, not by name, by relation to me. JANUARY 6-COUSIN, MARCH 23 FRIEND, APRIL 23 FRIEND, JULY 17- SISTER, AUGUST 15- FRIEND *had to double check* SEPTEMBER 6-MOM, SEPTEMBER 8-FRIEND, SEPTEMBER 23-ME, DECEMBER 4-FRIEND, DECEMBER 28-DAD. Thats it. From my extremely long list of people that i consider to be my entourage, hah, i only know 9 birthdays. Pretty sad if i do say so myself.

    CRIME

So a friend of mine recently put into my attention her concern of a 4 year old kidnapping that occured recently in my general area. I think that we need more people like that to bring a positve, almost affectionate, edge to the way that we see such cases. She was so affected that she brought it upon herself to voice her opinion to myself about this such incident. I've always known her to be a compationate person, but this journal has made me see things a little deeper and thus i'm including such a case in here. Anyway, back on topic, Crime- It is so varied in our society such as Drugs, Rape/Sexual Offendings, Robbery, Violence (ie mugging or murder) and i think we all need to think about it's affects on us personally more. Dont' just see that face of a missing child up on the screen as just a face on the screen. Envision the parents/guardians pacing back and forth just waiting for that either enlightening or devestating call that has to come. We are so less affected by it nowadays that it's disheartening. I guess it's just because we're more accustomed to hearing about the random drug busts or mollestations because it is so much more common. In part it's also because i'm in a town very close to a major city so I see and hear all of those more violent and nasty news stories. Thats all i have to say for now i guess.

    CREATIVITY
Is being creative a fading art form? All of these modern artists claim to be invinitely creative but when i sit, ponder, and peer into their art all i see is blobs, words constructively thrown together or the same old rhymes i've been hearing for all of my lesser years. I think soemof the coolest most influential creativity is channeled throught the show Def Poetry. They show some really influential stuff, but hell i know it's not everyones thing. I've been drawing a lot, you know, trying to spark the creativity bud in my brain. It's been working i found myslef today working on a construction site today doodling random things on the planks of wood during my break. It's just been good to be doing something along the lines of being spontanious recently. Eh, thats it. AND BE CREATIVE!!!!!!!

    WRITING
Jounals such as the one i'm typing on now are primarily used as so called diaries. Every entry consists of the persons ideas, emotions, and actions that occured in that particuliar hour, day, week or month. Every now and then someone does something different by posting various quotes or poems and really indulging in the expirience of having a "journal". A journal shouldn't be used as a time consumer Ie. the situation, Hey i'm bored i think i'll write something. It should be inspired. Family, Friends, Politics, News, Ideas, Contraversies, Architecture, Art, Nature, or Technology should be able to spark at least a little inspiration, thus creating a proper situation for writing. Don't think i'm trying to make it all scientific or specific, i'm trying to get the message that writing should be situational. Maybe i'm just breaking it down too much.
